PORETSKY-Nina, M.D. On March 1, 2004. Born August 24, 1919 in Bobruisk, Belarus. A prominent pediatrician, she lived and worked for more than three decades in Leningrad, Russia until her immigration to the United States in 1979. Her absolute dedication to work was reciprocated by the love of her little patients and their families, as well as the respect of her colleagues. In addition to being an outstanding physician, she was also a wonderful wife and mother. She is survived by her husband Ruvim Poretsky of Manhattan, and her two sons, Dimitry Poretsky of Laguna Beach, CA. and Dr. Leonid Poretsky of Manhattan. Funeral service Wednesday, 11:30AM at Frank E.
