PATRICK D. BYRNE

BYRNE--Patrick Dixon Bice. October 3, 1981-May 11, 2012. The world lost an unbelievably special soul whose life was taken away unexpectedly. Patrick is the adored son of Peggy Bice and J. Dixon Byrne; beloved stepson of Valerie DiFebo; precious brother of Molly Byrne, Bryan DiFebo Byrne, and Maggie and Alex Taylor; admired uncle of Andrew, Grace and Katherine Taylor; cherished grandson of Margaret S. Bice and the late James D. and Norma M. Byrne; treasured grand-nephew of Jack Byrne. Originally from Manhasset and Sea Cliff, NY; recently a resident of New Fairfield, CT. Patrick was an avid fisherman, accomplished musician, talented artist, lover of nature and his dog, Toby. The size of his heart was only surpassed by the love he had for his family and friends. His uncanny ability to comfort the hearts of others will never be matched. Patrick will be loved and held close to our hearts forever. Services will be conducted at Fairchild & Son Funeral Home in Manhasset, NY, Wednesday May 16, 2-5 and 7-9. The funeral mass will be held Thursday, May 17 at 10am, at St. Mary's RC Church in Manhasset, NY.
