PAUL FELZEN Obituary

FELZEN--Paul,

passed away Friday, August 17 from complications following Liposarcoma surgery. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1939 to Henry and Ada Felzen, Paul was a proud graduate of Midwood High School. After earning degrees from Columbia University (Phi Beta Kappa) and Harvard Law School, Paul became an attorney in New York City and was a sole practitioner for several decades. He was modest, honest, and very private - and also an excellent storyteller who loved to make people laugh. While his immediate family always came first, Paul's generosity, sense of fairness, and love for the Jewish People reached many in the United States and Israel through his philanthropy. Paul is survived by his wife, Sallie (Laskin), his sons, Tony and Nick (Yngrid), granddaughter, Mia, sister, Enid Friedman (Marvin), two nephews, their children and extended family in Israel. A celebration of Paul's life is planned for September. Please consider gifts to Paul Felzen Memorial Fund at Natan (natan.org).
