KROKONDELAS--Peter. Government and community relations professional who counseled non-profit and for-profit organizations over a career that spanned New York State and more than three decades, died unexpectedly on Saturday at age 52 of an apparent heart attack. A Vice President and accomplished member of the Kasirer team since 2011, Peter managed high-profile public- policy related campaigns and built coalitions of support for top-tier clients. His engaging manner and winning way endeared him to his colleagues and those he served, and enabled him to excel in his complex and important work. Peter began his career in public service in 1989 as Special Assistant to Fernando Ferrer. He then joined a political consulting firm where he successfully worked to elect federal, state and local candidates. Peter held a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Fordham University, and a Master's degree in Political Management from the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University. Peter was a devoted husband to Stephanie and his sons Jack and JoJo, for whom this is an unimaginable loss. All of us at Kasirer are devastated by Pete's passing. Viewing and Funeral in Lynbrook, NY, Wednesday and Thursday. Suri Kasirer, President, Kasirer LLC
