MANKO--Phyllis Sadick,

passed away on November 28, at age 89. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harry, her son, Clifford (Patricia), daughter, Elizabeth, and grandchildren Katharine, Margaret, and Melanie. She is also survived by four siblings. Phyllis was the daughter of Moses and Sara Sadick and grew up in Worcester, MA. where she retained a deep connection all her life. She was a graduate of Clark University and earned her MSW at Columbia University. While living at the International House Dormitory she met her husband Harry. Phyllis began her professional career with Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and then transferred to Mount Sinai in New York City when she married Harry in 1955. They moved to Port Washington, NY in 1960. Phyllis was very involved in numerous civic organizations in Port Washington. She loved music, played the cello, and had a passion for gardening. She had a full life and will be missed by all. Gifts in her memory can be made to: Clark University clarkgift, specified "In Memory of Phyllis S. Manko '50".
