Philosopher, dies at 95. Professor Emeritus at NYU; author of Persons: A Study in Philosophical Psychology, Lawless Mind, and Common Sense Morality; he was a key figure in the Ordinary Language school of Philosophy. He served in WWII as a merchant marine and participated in the civil rights movement. A beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and teacher, he is survived by his wife Marie; his children: Gabriel, Maris, and Benjamin; and his grandchildren: Harrison, Samantha, and Bodhi.
