Fran and Dick Koral were a part of my life from my childhood; their love and kindness and brilliance and humor made the world a better place. There are really no words to express how much I admired and loved them, and how much they are a part of me as I go forward toward the rest of my own life. I miss them, and send my condolences to Josh and Harriet.

It was always a pleasure to be in Richard's company. Such a generous, great spirit. I'll miss him, but will carry a sweet memory of him.

It was my great pleasure to have worked with Dick when we
tried to publish Brooklyn Magazine in the 1970's. What a fine
man, a real mensch. To Harriet and his children, my
condolences on his passing.

A true measure of any person is who they leave behind. In Dick's case he leaves a family of very special people. People who are caring loving and intelligent.
No one could wish for more.
It's a privilege to know them.
Love from downunder.

He was the oldest Koral male cousin, of us 9 lucky Koral first cousins. He was a leader, a courageous person, a loving, interesting, smart and caring person. Rest in peace, beloved cousin.
