Dear Ed and Francoise,
I just received the very sad news about your brother Robert. On behalf of Marie, Raffi, Sevag, and the entire Balian family, I offer our most profound and heartfelt condolences on your loss. I understand the pain of losing someone so close and beloved and the difficulty of comprehending and accepting the sad reality. It has only been three years since Vartkess passed away. I hope that the joy you shared with your brother throughout your lives and the memories created offer some measure of comfort during this difficult time.
May God illuminate his soul and may He comfort and bless you and your family.
With deepest sympathy,
Rita Balian

I knew him but a short time, while we were working on a church project. A fellow architect and a true gentleman. I will miss his wisdom and wit.
Our condolences to his family for his great loss. Rest in Peace dear Robert.
