GROSS--Dr. Stanley,

100 years old, passed away peacefully at his home in Greenwich, Connecticut on April 23rd. Dr. Gross was for more than forty years Director of Laboratories at North Shore Hospital, Manhasset, New York, respected and loved by co-workers. His avocation of crafting stringed instruments brought joy to many musicians young and old. He was the devoted husband for 58 years of the late Dr. Henriette Marcus. He is survived by his treasured daughter, Dr. Charlotte Gross of Manhattan; and his loved son, Dr. Charles Gross, of Waynesville, NC. His gentle and wise spirit will be cherished by four siblings, many nieces and nephews, friends, and devoted caregivers. Memorial services will be held at a time and place to be announced in these pages. Donations in his memory may be made to Audubon Greenwich and Doctors Without Borders.
