LEVY--Victor P. The Sephardic Foundation on Aging sadly notes the passing of our long-term Board member, President of the former Sephardic Home for the Aged, 1991-1994. For over forty years, Victor was dedicated to enriching the lives of our elderly residents as if each were a member of his own family. Our Board extends its deepest sympathy to his wife Ruth and his entire family. Louis Rousso, Chair Michael Lopez, President Joe Halio, M.D., Secretary Neil Crespi, Treasurer

I had the pleasure of working for Victor for 4 years at Paul Reed. At a time when my career in management was just beginning, Victor served as a friend and mentor who's wisdom shaped my actions as a leader and a man for the rest of my life. Faced with challenging decisions, I often pondered "what would Vic do."
We exchanged holiday greetings until 2021 and when I didn't receive a card in return I thought that he might have passed. Deepest condolences to Ruth and the family.
By the way, did he ever let his family know that he took flying lessons at Teterboro airport in the mid '80's? He told me that he missed flying DC3s in WWII.
God Bless you Victor. After such a wonderful life I'm sure you are resting peacefully.

As the Assistant Director and Executive Director of the former Sephardic Home for the Aged, I had the honor of working with Victor for over 30 years 1983-2014. Victor loved the Residents and Staff of the Nursing Home with all his heart. During his frequent visits to the Home, Victor would distribute Sephardic treats which he brought in large shopping bags to the Residents. He was an amazing human being. He often sat in my office to discuss the wonderful pleasure he experiences when he speaks to the Residents and Staff. He gave me very important advice when he said, "nice guys don't finish last, they finish first." On behalf of the Staff, I send heartfelt condolences to Ruth and the entire Levy Family.
