DINGER--William Sadlier,

passed away peacefully at home on November 11. Bill was the beloved husband of Maureen, caring father of William Sadlier Dinger, Jr. and Michael Sadlier Dinger, father-in-law of Jennifer Bailey Dinger and Loren Smith Dinger and loving grandfather of Andrew, Grace, Miles, Grant and Whitney. Bill grew up in Searingtown, New York and graduated from Chaminade High School and the University of Notre Dame. In 1963, he joined his family's educational publishing company, William H. Sadlier, the oldest family-owned publishing company in the United States founded 186 years ago by Denis and James Sadlier. He led the company as President for 25 years successfully publishing mathematics, vocabulary, phonics, grammar, and Catholic religious textbooks. He received numerous awards for his outstanding leadership in education. Education was his passion and life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Inner-City Scholarship Fund. Viewing will be held at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home. The funeral will take place at St. Ignatius Loyola.
