FIORAVANTI--William Paul,

passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease at the age of 91 on October 11, 2017. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to a Neapolitan family, William was the brightest star in any room, the life of every party. He is acknowledged as one of a few of the finest bespoke tailors in the world. He was selected for the CTDA's Lifetime Achievement Award in 1998 honoring his stellar achievements in the tailoring profession and his long-standing contributions to the CTDA, including serving as President and for many years as Assistant Treasurer. He was also installed in the CTDA Tailors Hall of Fame that year. He served in the navy during World War II. He married his wife, Olga, in 1949. A dynamic and talented man, William ran William Fioravanti, Inc. with his wife, brother, and daughter for over 60 years. He loved people, and will be missed by all who knew him.
