SELEPEC--John G., 90, Commercial Photographer, aka Jayson Jons, passed away on June 18th after a short illness. He was born in Allegheny County, PA, one of eleven children, served in the U.S. Army; part of his tour of duty was as Military Fire Chief of the City of Naples, Italy. After serving, he came to New York, earned a degree in Interior Design and Decorating from Vladimir Kagan but decided to pursue photography. His specialties were the 12 X 20 and 8 X 10 cameras. He retired last year after 50 years. Also known for Latin Dancing at Roseland, Billiard Exhibitions with Willie Mosconi and for being the ultimate sports fan. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sabra, three stepchildren, two sisters, one brother, his daughter Christine Comer, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He will be missed.
