May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. May you know no more grief.

Dear Howard,

I am profoundly saddened to learn of Elihu's passing. In the past several years, I was joined by classmates Matthew Gross and George Moehringer in periodically visiting him, and offering him the pleasure of enjoying nostalgia with some of his oldest friends.

In his own way, he was a larger-than-life personality, who never failed to engender amusement and happiness in those around him.

We will all miss him very much.

Dear Howard,
Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. Elihu and I were classmates at Cooper Union (Chem Eng 1961). He was truly the spirit of the class. A charming witty person whose smile would light up the classroom.
