Don and I were in the same gallery in Boston and have been in touch from time to time about business and art. He was a lovely fellow and artist. I'm sure he will be missed by many.

Dear Jeanette and family,
It was with great sadness that I learned of Don's death and I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed working with him and how deeply we love his paintings here at Union. We will remember him always with great fondness and deep affection.
