GOLD--Martin, a singular and generous man, died on August 9, 2012. Born in the Bronx on August 30, 1923, he attended DeWitt Clinton High School ('39), CCNY ('43), and Harvard Law ('48). A WWII Army veteran, he lived in White Plains and Manhattan, and practiced law into his 80s. He liked fine wine, opera, and lemon meringue pie. He dearly loved his wife, Gloria; sister, Bernice; children Larry, Matthew, and Emily, and their spouses, Susanne, Lois, and Barney; grandchildren Marisa, David, Diana, Dana, Alice, Owen, Kira, and Clara; and his extraordinary extended family.
