SWING--Marlin G., passed away peacefully on October 10th in New York City. He was a graduate of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and received his Masters degree from Columbia University. He taught classes in Harmony and Theory at Mannes College and later joined CBS Radio Network, where he spent 40 years as a producer and director of dramatic shows. After his retirement he returned to CBS at the request of Walter Cronkite where they worked on many shows together. During his time at CBS he was also Assistant Director of CBS Radio Mystery Theater as well as its Music Director. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and colleagues. There are no immediate survivors. At this time there are no plans for a public service. Goodbye beloved old friend.
