GEORGE CLADIS Obituary

CLADIS--George, artist, husband, father, and grandfather died at his home in New Jersey at the age of 90. Born and educated in New York City, He studied with Yasuo Kuniyoshi and Adja Yunkers. Following an outstanding career in aeronautics/aerospace (distinguished fellow, College of Aeronautics) he left the establishment shortly after his twin sons were born to begin a new, true life as an artist in Paris. After Paris, George and his family returned to the United States where he continued his art in Tribeca. His medium was mostly abstract oil on canvas He invented novel techniques often incorporating mixed mediums such as stitching, rope, and wire mesh. George is survived by his wife Patricia, sister Elpis, twin sons (Harrison and Franklyn) and five grandchildren (Hudson, Alethea, William, Catherine, and Mary).

So very sorry we loved George and his talent and hospitality .unfortunally health issues will prevent us from driving to north Jersey Love John and Bea Mangelli
