Al was my Inspector General while at HPD. He was a brilliant and compassionate leader with a heart of gold and endless patience. He remains in my book of mentors forever. My deepest condolences to his family for this untimely loss.

Work very closely with Alfred when he was @ Probation and I was with Phoenix House - a very warm, caring person - he made a difference

I never had the privilege of meeting Mr. Siegel but I am friends with his sister, Alice and I know she loved him very much. It sounds like he was a wonderful man and will be missed deeply. My condolences to the entire family.

I will always remember Alfred as the best sports fan I ever knew. And the funniest memory is when he somehow had to coach a kids' baseball team wearing Mets jerseys. That was a cap he would never put on.
