SHUKAT--Peter Stephen, April 20, 1945-June 7, 2014 Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Entertainment Lawyer. Passed peacefully after a brave, valiant, and purposefully private 10 year battle with prostate cancer. He fought his battle with strength, humility, courage, dignity, and conviction, always maintaining normalcy and hope in his life, being the unwavering family patriarch and consummate business person. He was a man who led his own path with honesty and conviction. He was a leader amongst his peers and most of all he was an extraordinary role model to his children and grandkids. He had a sensibility for knowing how to make things happen with great success and tenacity. He lived his life to the fullest. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched and he will be greatly missed by all.He is survived by his wife Yvette, his children: Justin/ Keri, Josh/ Lauren, Michael/ Susy, Jenn/ Ira and his nine adored grandkids - Julia, Emma, Ryan, Andrew, Skylar, Max, Regan, Samson, and Greyson. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 11:00am, Temple Emanuel of Great Neck, NY. I will miss Peter's strong presence and unfaltering love forever,we were partners in life.
