TREDANARI--Chiarina nee Mascieri, passed away at home, January 21, 2015 in the arms of her family. Cherie, 96 years, born April 28, 1918 of Italian immigrant parents, in South Philadelphia, schooled at Moore College of Art on full scholarship, established a successful art studio on Walnut St. in the '40s. In 1948, she married the love of her life, Leonardo Tredanari, television director/producer, who predeceased her in 2003. Cher moved to New York City with Len, and kids in 1956 to W. 103rd st. A founding member of the 103rd st. Block association, founder of art collaborative "Ten Uptown" and founder of the Sculptors Alliance. She is survived by her daughter, Adriana; son, Gregory (Carol Anne), grandchildren, Marco (Amy), Nicola, Rebecca; great-grandchildren, Giulia, Leonardo; brother Lee (Anita), many nieces and nephews and wayward kids who found love at her home. Dear mother, passionate artist, true friend, loyal neighbor and consummate chef! A force to be reckoned with - now she shines in the firmament.
