MARCUS--Jane Connor.

The City College of New York mourns the passing of Jane Connor Marcus, Distinguished Professor of English, the Graduate Center, CUNY, and at City College. Dr. Marcus joined the CCNY faculty in 1986 and was appointed a Distinguished Professor in 1990. She was an authority on women writers, women's studies, and other forms of literature. Her publications included books on Virginia Woolf. She will be fondly remembered at City College as an outstanding teacher, mentor and writer. On behalf of our students, faculty and staff, we extend sincerest condolences to the Marcus family. Lisa S. Coico, President
