GUBER--Carol died peacefully, surrounded by family and life-long friends, on March 9. A therapist, nutritionist, altruist, author, entrepreneur, and arbiter of great taste, she led a series of profoundly magical lives in her 69 years. Carol was a devoted daughter to her parents, Edna Tuttleman and Lee Guber, a loyal step-daughter to her step-parents, Stanley Tuttleman, Barbara Walters, and Lois Wyse, a loving aunt, and a fiercely fun friend. She is survived by her brothers Zev, Steven, and David, her sister Jackie, her son Noah Shachtman, his wife Elizabeth, and their two children, Leo and Giovanni. Services will be held on Sunday at 5:30pm at Or Olam, 308 E 55th St. Donations in her memory can be made to the .
