Dear Sherman, Alexander and your families ~ Our deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother. She and my dad, Charlie Hesse, worked together at the MMOA years ago. They were great friends and had great respect for each other. Your parents and mine were good friends and I have a faint memory of visiting your vacation house in CT when we all were kids. I remember both your mom and dad's wonderful personalities, their warmth, and their great senses of humor. We wish you comfort and peace at this time. Martha, Kim and Steve Hesse

Martha was a classmate at Vassar whom I liked a lot and enjoyed taking Art History classes with her. Later, after we had both married, we lived near each other in Connecticut and enjoyed some wonderful dinners together as couples. My thoughts, love, and prayers are sent to her brother George whom I knew at Princeton and to all the rest of her family.

To the Baldwin Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
