MAY--Julian. Born July 10, 1931 in Chicago, IL, died October 17, 2017 in Bellevue, WA. Author of 19 science-fiction and fantasy novels and more than 250 juvenile nonfiction books. Wife of the late T.E. Dikty; mother of Barbara, David and Alan Dikty; daughter of the late Matthew and Julia Feilen May. A private Roman Catholic memorial service was held on October 19, 2017. A longtime lover of the outdoors and a keen fly angler, her ashes were scattered in the wilderness of Washington State.
