I will miss James Goodman very much . He was truly an man of integrity. I valued his opinion greatly . He was my neighbor in the fuller building and we spent many hours together discussing paintings and sculpture. He was a trustworthy art dealer and my memories of him will remain with me forever. I send my deepest condolences to Kathy, his family and to his gallery family. With my sincerest sympathies Rita Krauss

Dear Jim, with a heart as big as the entire West Side. A connoisseur of fine cigars, fine art and a fine sunset, always with Sarge, his beloved retriever, by his side. For his wisdom and empathy; as father, husband and friend, he surely left the world better than when he entered it. Requiascet.

I'll never forget when Jim visited me years ago during my stay in the hospital- and brought me a beautiful photo of their beloved dog "Alice" who was so dear to me. I fondly remember him as he peacefully sat on his favorite central park bench in the late afternoons, basking in the beauty of Central Park. Such a gentle and kind soul. RIP Jim.
