I was thinking of Cindy this morning and days gone by when she was at McDermott and I was at Smith Barney NYC. Cindy was the consummate professional and it was my honor to have known her so many years ago.
A wonderful, charming and super-intelligent professional. Thank you.

I first met Cindy in 1987 when I joined McDermott International Investments Co., Inc., as the IT Manager. She and Larry were at the trading desk using the Telerate and Bloomberg terminals. We had a very dynamic group of investment professionals and Cindy was one of the leaders and clearly a genius. I had very little knowledge in our primary business function. I needed investment information, I needed details. Cindy would always help. I would not have made it without her help and patience. She was the consummate team player. She gave me invaluable knowledge and tools that I use daily.
In the early part of her career she juggled it all, a loving and devoted parent to two young children; Ashley and Ryan, a financial analysis, a mentor, a dynamic leader and our little league score keeper for the Marlins. She did all of this while studying for and passing her CFA exam. Improbable for most, but not for Cindy. Good deeds and good memories are everlasting. Cindy left many with us. She was highly respected and loved. I reached out to her recently to send my love and support and to express my gratitude. I don't think she realized how impactful and inspirational she was to me and my career. She was intelligent, loyal, driven, accomplished, inspirational and above all she was a very wonderful person.
Rest in Peace Cindy.

I can't imagine loving finance as much as I do today without having Cindy as a mentor. It was a privilege and great joy to work with her. Thank you for every minute! With deep sympathy, and warmest regards.

I offer my sincere condolences to all her family and friends. She was a wonderful engaging woman with a warm heart and open arms. I worked with her at Franklin Templeton as well and have nothing but fond memories and admiration for all that she accomplished in her career. I pray that she is at peace with her Lord.

She was my friend of over 35 years - she was my sweet pea and I was her pumpkin - we messaged almost everyday - I miss the messages terribly - she saved our family thru many tough journeys over the passage of time - literally - trust me - we shed some tears on her patio - but / shared more laughs - my hubby and she had a special bond - I feel as though the wind has been taken from my sails - love u my sweet pea

As I woke today I said, "It's been 7 days." My first thoughts were of you. Your light and grace shines on. I am so blessed to have shared a friendship as we had. Your love and friendship will always be my most treasured gift. Thank you for believing in me. I love you from here and to the moon and back.

Cindy has always strike me as an amazingly inspiring person and a ray of sunshine to others around her. During a bad day, you wouldn't know it because she always seems to be the voice of reason with a stiff upper lip and will always makes me laugh in the midst of it all. She was always a true joy to be around and in her latter days at work, each time we ran into each other, she couldn't wait to pull her cellphone out so as to show off the pictures of her grandchildren, whom she was so very proud of and couldn't wait to relocate to New York so as to be closer to them and just love on them. I will miss her terribly, and I am sure heaven has already accepted her with wide open arms and has bestowed the title of a true Angel of Inspiring Beauty so that she can continue that same path. Thank you for giving her to us even though her earthly journey has ended too soon.
