I miss you Perry. I was just thinking about all the times you used to call me while on one of your walks. I feel like I'm talking to you now. I think you may even be listening. You don't know it, and I know now that I should have told you, but talking to you made me feel more connected to the world. I don't know why. One of the things I loved about you most was that you were a man of great integrity. I was so proud to call you my brother. I'm sorry I missed the memorial events. I'm so glad I got to sit and be with you in those final days of your life here on earth. Could you hear me? Do you know I love you more than words can say? Could you feel it? Well, I know that Heaven is lucky to have you. And I know you'll keep em laughing. I'll see ya' when I see you!

I knew Perry and worked with him during our waiter days at the Manhattan Ocean Club from the mid-80's to the early 90's. He was talented, funny, smart, sensitive and a snappy dresser. He also introduced me to my wife Michele in 1986, and for that I'll forever be grateful. Rest easy Perry, and start mixing colors brother. Peace.
