I never forgot her production Cry Help filmed at Napa State Hospital . It made me decide to become a nurse. I believe I wrote to her and thanked her a few decades ago, and she answered my letter. People like her are few and far between. Thanks, Lucy. I am still working with kids, thanks to you.

On this first anniversary of her passing, my thoughts go to my dear friend Scott McArthur who was Lucy's business partner and confidante for many years, until the end of her life...Both Lucy and Scott are in my thoughts and prayers today.

I only knew Lucy Jarvis through the recollections of my dear friend Scott McArthur, her longtime producing partner (and more)...But I came to appreciate Lucy's accomplishments as a multi-award winning producer, and as a pioneering woman in an era when men dominated the business of television...She will never be forgotten by any who knew her or knew of her...Rest in Peace Lucy, and condolences to Scott.

Lucy Jarvis was an inspiration to all who knew her. I met her through my work with New York Women in Communications as a past President and thought she was so thoughtful, hard working and dedicated to improve opportunities for women. May she Rest In Peace.
