We adopted one of Iris's dachshunds 13 years ago and he is a true and faithful friend. We've always felt grateful to Iris for sharing him with us. His name is Ajax II and he will be 15 years old in June. With an invitation from Iris, we once attended the Westminster Dog Show and one of her famous parties at the Tavern on the Green. Wonderful memories.

Yesterday was a sad day for all of us who loved her...we lost IRIS LOVE...she was as Lovely as her name... in Classical Mythology Iris was a messenger of the gods....regarded as the goddess of the rainbow....she truly was
