I still have that gorgeous headdress, from your Queen Street store, I wore on my special day. You made wedding dresses and headdresses so very special and your beautiful designs will always be remembered with gratitude and fond affection. Rest in peace, dear classy Lady.

LUCAS, Vinka Dragica MNZM (nee Ravlic). Born January 01, 1932. Passed away on August 10, 2020. Born in Kozica, Croatia. Arrived from Croatia to NZ in 1951.Vinka always had a special bond with her late mother Matija, and her sister Ljubica and family in Makarska. To my surrogate mum, who, with late Uncle David, brought me to NZ as a 13 year-old : Dear Teta, we were always so proud of your achievements, and appreciated your advice over the years. Always there to guide and inspire. Thank you so much, you will be deeply missed and always remembered. From your niece Bozenka, and Victor, Richard, Robert Mrkusich, and families. Pocivala u miru Bozijem.

LUCAS, Vinka. To my favorite aunt such a beautiful soul, you will be sadly missed by us all. So many great memories that will stay will us forever. You were an inspiration to so many.
