Bea Hardin

1915 - 2009

ODESSA Bea Hardin, age 94, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 26, 2009. She was born Sept. 29, 1915, in Denton County Texas, to Claude Hulan and Bertha Bell Pugh Eggleston. She was a homemaker, beloved Mother and Memaw.

She married Archie Floyd Hardin on Sept. 8, 1934, in Stanton Texas. He died March 3, 1967, in Odessa. She later married Lester Morece Hightower on Jan 16, 1970, in Odessa. He died Apr 9, 1997, in Odessa.

She is a member of the Circle "J" Cowboy Church and has been a member of Floyd Easterling 1074 and Odessa 447 OES for more than 30 years.

Bea leaves behind to cherish her love and memory three sons, Leon Hardin and his wife Marie, Delbert Hardin and his wife Linda both of Palestine, Texas, and Lynn Hardin and his wife D of Lipan, Texas; four daughters, Mollie Jeanne Hardin, Barbara Brooks and Ruby Hardin of Odessa and Dana Meeks and her husband Greg of Elgin, Texas; one sister, Faye Walker of Big Spring, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both husbands; two sons, Odell Hardin and Floyd Hulan Hardin; one grandson, Rockford "Rocky" Hardin; and a great-grandson, Daniel Cole; her parents; six brothers and two sisters.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staffs of Parks Methodist Retirement Center and the Compass Hospice.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Frank W. Wilson's Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Newton and Pastor David Adkins officiating. Interment will follow at the old Ector County Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.frankwwilso .com.
