It was an honor to have Lou as my brother-in-law. He was always cordial and kind to everyone. Lou had his heart in the right places ~ First his Family; his Church; the written word; and --of course-- his music. There is now a hole in the hearts of the many who crossed his path. He is missed . . .

Lou and I were kind of young mates because our mothers shared the maternity ward at the same time in 1937. Although it is probably 10 years since I last saw him, there was never a feeling of separation. The Florian family was a great part of my young life. I would bet Lou will be pounding an organ with the angels!
