Mom. It will be 3 years coming up and it still feels like yesterday. GOD had called you home before we were ready but God don't make no mistakes. Your light was bright and your spirit was and still is felt. You preached the word to others and left a mark on all you came into contact with. If I ever had faith before, it's definitely stronger now. My memory is every Thanksgiving we celebrated your birthday and your favorite holiday was Christmas. You went big and hard for us and the family. You did the church drives and all for the needy families. Words can't explain all the things you did and especially behind the scenes. Some know you as minister Mia, Nana, deja, Mrs Mia, and call you friend. I know you as Mom. The first, the friend, the protector. Even though we didn't always see eye to eye, I know you were there and your spirit lives on through us. I swear you visit cause I can smell your perfume. Keep watching over us and rest in heaven peace. Till we Meet again Mom. I love you and always will.

My deepest sympathy for the family. Mia was the kindest, most loving person ever. She was my neighbor for a short period of time in Jollick Manor, as well as a classmate, and someone who although we haven't spoken in quite some time I still consider a friend. Heaven has certainly inherited an angel. RWG my friend. Condolences
