Mary Evelyn Prebeg, 96, of Midway, passed Monday, February 1, 2021.
She was born August 10, 1924, in Midway, a daughter of Richard Sherman and Mary Kupstas Campbell.
Mrs. Prebeg was a graduate of Midway High School. She worked as a consultant for Arthur Andersen Inc. in Pittsburgh for 20 years, where she retired in 1989.
On June 10, 1946, she married Michael R. Prebeg, who passed September 4, 1986.
Mary loved spending time with her family, crocheting, quilting, playing bingo and going to the casino. She also was a past member of Center Presbyterian Church in Midway.
Surviving are a daughter, Marilee (Dan) Hallam of Midway; a sister, Rebecca Michalka of Cranberry; five grandchildren, Dana (Mike) Shuble, Daniel Hallam Jr., Sarah (Vern) Smith, Melanie Cooley and Marcy Prebeg; 14 great-grandchildren, Michael, Johnathon, Lacey, Katerina, Alaura and Nicholas Shuble, Tristan and Tyler Nicholson, Emily, Erin and Julia Smith, Sydney, McKensie Cooley and Maxwell Prebeg.
Deceased are a son, Michael Prebeg; and a brother, Richard A. Campbell.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of services, Saturday, February 6, in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057. Interment will be private at Center Cemetery, Midway.
