THOMAS JONES Obituary
Ocala - Mr. Thomas Lloyd Jones, age, 81, transition this life to be with the heavenly father on February 18, 2017 at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center. He was a veteran of the United Stated Army, A Life member of (VFW 7193), member of Marion County NAACP, Sickle Cell Disease Association of Marion County/State of FL. Mr. Jones was a graduate of Howard Academy (Class of 1954).
He leaves to cherish his precious memories a devoted wife, Marie Dixon-Jones, Ocala, FL; sons, Leonard Mallard, Dealmus Dixon, Sr., Reginald Jones, Dextra Jones; daughters, Valerie Council, Dolores Gordon, Chandra Jones; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, a host of family and sorrowing friends.
Funeral service for Mr. Thomas Jones will be held 10:00am on Friday, February 24, 2017 at St. Paul AME Church, Rev. Patrick Sasnett, Pastor. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 PM until 7:00PM at Hadley-Brown & Paulk Funeral Home, 127 N.W. 20th Street, Ocala, Florida 34475. (352) 620-0573. Professional arrangements are entrusted to J. Hadley Funeral Home & Hadley-Brown & Paulk Funeral Home.
