Lake City - Carol Lendora Evans, 64, passed away June 7, 2018.
Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory and to mourn her passing her son, Julius French; two sisters, Elvaray Jones (Henry-deceased) of Ocala, FL, and M. Elaine Evans-Echols (Lawrence-deceased) of Lake City, FL; four brothers, William James 'Bill' Evans (Margaret) of Ocala, FL, Ruben Evans (Shirley) of Pontiac, MI, Emanuel Evans (Evelyn) of Brunson, FL, and Curtis Evans of Lake Butler, FL, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Hattie Graham (Ernest-deceased), Joann Conner (Lee-deceased), and Ola Mae Newmones (Jack-deceased); brothers, Harold L. Evans (Carolyn), Melvin H. Evans Sr. (Middie), and Bernis Evans Jr.
Life Celebration for Ms. Evans will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, 11am at Sellers Funeral Home, 440 SW Broadway Street, Ocala, Florida 34475. Elder Jimmy Jones will be conducting the words of comfort. Visitation will be at Sellers Funeral Home on Friday from 12pm to 6pm. Family and friends are asked to meet at the residence, 1016 NW 13th Avenue, Ocala, Florida, at 10:15am on Saturday to form the funeral cortege. No viewing following the eulogy.
