So many birthdays shared;
Who’s going to help me blow out the candles next year?
I just wish you could be here.

Remember when you would throw me in the pool when it was ice cold,
but you wouldn’t even stick your big toe in unless it was at least 80.
“Watch me hold my breath grandpa.
Are you looking?
Are you?”
Cleaning out the skimmer was the best.
Remember when we would find frogs in there?
Who’s going to get out all the spiders for me?
I still can’t do it. I’m still chicken.

I know where I got my baby blues from.
You always let your opinion be known,
and apparently it’s hereditary cause it gets me in trouble sometimes.
I couldn’t have asked for a better grandfather.

I’m working hard grandpa.
I want to make you proud.
I love you!

Albert Einstein and Jerry Lewis were born Pisces and so was Ray and he had both characters. Ray was blessed with a brilliant mind that would operate at Ghtz speed. Whenever I wanted to know about anything, I would ask Ray and he was sure to give me the right advice. He certainly gave me a lot to think about.
Ray was also a generous and kind person and would often mask that. He may have been quick at times, but he meant well. There is at least one person today ( maybe two) who can see again because of Ray. He also donated all his good organs so others could have a better life. I will forever miss my brother-in-law and mostly the free second opinions. May you rest in peace on God's Golf Course.
My condolences to my dear sister Maggie and to the Mahar family.

Maggie, so sorry for your unexpected loss. I never met your husband, but heard from Claude and Betty that he was a pretty good guy. Stay focused on your family and you will do fine. I have not seen you in many years, but if you are still the old Maggie, you will do well with your family. Arnold Roy

Ray will be greatly missed. His common sense approach to things his quick wit and sometimes sarcastic humor will always be remembered. I had the pleasure of knowing Ray as a relative and a co-worker. In my travels I would work for 3-4 weeks a year at Rays last place of employment and would always make a point to meet Ray and some of his friends and co-workers at the company cafeteria for a 7 AM ( which was mid morning for Ray ) breakfast. It was always a great way to start the day. Ray and Maggie always had an open door at their house in MD and I will always appreciate their hospitality.
