HOLLETT, ROBERT HOMER
Ocala - Robert Homer Hollett, 81, passed away January 7, 2019. He was born on January 5, 1938 in Monroe, MI to Wayne Hollett and Anola (Cousino) Hollett. Robert was a Tool and Die Maker and served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. In his younger years, he enjoyed horse back riding, hunting and fishing. In later years, he enjoyed camping, boating and going to McDonald's for coffee with his friends.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Joyce; son, Robert Hollett; daughter, Lisa Hollett (James Dilley); step sons, John Shultz and Charles Riggs; step daughter, Angela Bradley; grandchildren, Cory Hollett, Brianne Hollett, Alicia Lawson, Kayla Dunn, Bryce Riggs and Charles Riggs, Jr. and great grandchild, Jamie Lawson.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Melvin Hollett.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony. Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Ronald McDonald House. https://www.rmhc.org. Following memorial service a Celebration of Life will be held at Cliftwood Clubhouse, 7101 W. Anthony Rd., Ocala.
