Ocala - Todd McMullen of Ocala, FL passed away on Saturday, March 31st, 2012. He was 42. He was born in Starke, Florida. He grew up with his parents William Eli and Ruby Carolyn McMullen and his brother Billy McMullen in Vero Beach, FL. He attended the University of Florida where he earned his Master's degree in Accounting. While attending college he met the love of his life and his wife of over 20 years Angela Arnold McMullen. After graduating from UF, Todd and Angela moved to Ocala. Todd was an active member in the community especially with youth sports. Todd was a partner at Purvis, Gray & Co. in Ocala. He worked there for 21 years. Todd was a great husband and father, and brother. His greatest joy in life was being with his family. He loved coaching his sons Kirby and Hunter and their little league baseball teams. He loved to travel with his wife Angela to all of their games and tournaments. Todd is survived by his wife Angela and their sons Kirby and Hunter; their beloved dogs Diamond and Charlie; brother Billy McMullen (Liane); in-laws Richard and Sheila Arnold; brothers-in-law Phillip Arnold, David Arnold, John Arnold (Erin); sister-in-law Ashley Dorman (Brent); nieces Taylor and Peyton Dorman; nephew Eli McMullen; and grandmother-in-law Alma Peck. Todd was preceded in death by his parents William Eli and Ruby Carolyn McMullen. Todd will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, April 5, 2012, at First Baptist Church, 2801 SE Maricamp Road, with Dr. Darren Gaddis officiating; Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.
