God blessed Vasco to live 86 years, enjoying a life of family, friends, serving his country in the Army during the Korean War, and for many years being a trucker driving across the country. Vasco surrendered to the call of the Lord and entered into peaceful rest on Sunday, June 10, 2018.
He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Marian Rimes; daughters, Selina Rimes Mosley, Diane Sanders; sons, Van Rimes, Mark Rimes, Antoinne Rimes, and Brian Rimes; sisters, Patricia A. Leaks, Mary A. Lynum; aunts, Sadie Rimes, Ida Bell Williams, Mozella Edmund, Hazel Lois Rimes, Mercina Nix; uncle, James W. Rimes; and a host of grandchildren.
Public visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 6-8 pm at Mt. Zion MB, 728 NW 6th Ave. Ocala, FL. Home Going Celebration will be on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 1pm, also at Mt. Zion. Flowers may be sent to O. B. Samuel Funeral Home, 21 SE 10th St. Williston, Fl 32696, 352-528-3292 or brought to the church during the Friday visitation or prior to the Home Going service.
