Helen Price Obituary
Ocala - Helen Dorothy Price, loving mother, grandmother, and devoted wife and friend, passed away on October 11, 2011. She was born on February 5, 1928, on the family farm in Ludlow, Illinois to George and Anna Griswold. She graduated from Rantoul High School and went on to work as a secretary, business owner, and real estate agent prior to her move to Ocala Palms in 1996. She will be incredibly missed by her family, daughter Andrea Forney (Arlington, Texas), daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Bob Poncelow (Fort Collins, Colorado), and grandchildren Cassie and Nick Poncelow. Two husbands preceded Helen in death: Jack Kennedy and Ray Price. Helen has one older brother Bill (Anderson, Indiana), and was preceded in passing by her younger sister Alice and her younger brother R.C. She also leaves her best friend and partner for life, Dick Johnson, and his family, as well as many other dear friends she made along her journey. A celebration of Helen's bountiful life will be held in the Family Life Center at the First United Methodist Church of Ocala, 1136 East Silver Springs Blvd., on Friday October 14, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please join Helen in finding a cure for all cancers by donating to the American Cancer Society.

I have been privileged to know this great lady for over 30 years, since her days in Fairplay, CO. She is as true a friend as anyone I have known. She is always cheerful and joyful in conversation, caring about and being more interested in others than in herself. Andrea and Stacy, you have my best wishes as you face mortal life without your mother. And Dick, thank you for making Helen's life so much happier in her later years. Know that she is delighted in reuniting with those who have preceded her, and that her spirit is with you at all times. She awaits the Resurrection with glorious anticipation.
