Jean Krueger
Oconto - Jean Frances Krueger age 84 of Oconto, passed away September 27, 2018 at Bellin Hospital. She was born June 1, 1934 to the late Urban and Genevive (Whittaker) Drolette of Pensaukee. She grew up in Pensaukee and married Marvin Krueger January 3, 1953. The couple farmed in the town of Pensaukee for many years. Jean worked at Oconto Memorial Hospital when she was young. She enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking and sewing for her family. While raising their children the couple decided to take in foster children. They later changed to being a receiving home for the state of Wisconsin. In the 17 years the couple provided a temporary home for 317 children. In 1985 Jean Graduated from NWTC as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked at the Falls Nursing Home, Riverside Nursing Home and The Falls Community Memorial Hospital. After Jean retired the couple wintered in Texas for several years where they made many lasting friends. Jean was a member of St. Patricks' Church in Stiles, WI. She is survived by her 5 children Craig (Lois) Krueger of Two Rivers, Scott (Debbie) Krueger of Oconto, Wade (Brenda Bekanger) Krueger of Oconto, Renee (Terry) Carter of Pound and Karen Gagnon of Pound. 10 grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Corey, Chelsie, Francesca, Nathaniel, Kyrsten, Shane, Matthew and Alicia. 8 great grandchildren Scott, Johnathan, Collin, Christopher, Payton, Alexander, Anna and Sloane. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin, son Cole, grandson Christopher Krueger, sister Dorothy Petersen and brother Paul Drolette. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Patricks' Church in Stiles on Friday October 5th from 8 - 10 am. The Service will be at 10 am with Father Joel Sember officiating. My condolences to the Krueger family. Losing someone in death is so painful. But we look forward to a time when we can see the loved ones we have lost again. Here is a comforting thought found at 1 Thessalonians 4:13,14.
