We met in the ER at Palos Hospital, she would come in to pick up patients. She would come find me even when she didnt have my patients. I will always remember her kindness and caring ways, she truly cared about people. She was both excited and nervous about becoming a mother to her barnacle. I would rub her tummy and say she would be awesome. Melissa was loved and respected by all those she touched. She will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to her family.
