It's almost been 2 years. Where ever you must be I hope you are doing the best you possibly can. You should know we still talk about you to this day, all the wonderful memories we made together as a family. I wear this cross necklace that you gave to grandma because it means more to me. I love you forever and always grandpa.

My Grandpa was a wonderful man. I know I have written already, but it has been a year and a day now since has been off this earth physically. I just wanted to say that I remember my 10th birthday when we had the pool party in the back yard of his house. Since my Grandfather really knew how to make some wonderful macaroni salad I ate so much of it. I ate so much of the macaroni salad my stomach hurt. My mother and grandmother both freaked out, my grandpa being my grandpa he gave me pickle juice as a cure. Now since that day, I have learned that every time my stomach hurts I am to drink pickle juice.

Grandpa, I miss you so much. It has been a couple months and I still think about you every day. It is hard not to think about you when your hat is hung up in my room. It is hard knowing that you are gone. It is truly the worst knowing that you are not in this world to make more memories with. The best memory I have with you is when it was my ninth birthday and I ate my food way to fast and I was in a lot of pain. You saved the day by making me drink pickle juice. Which to this day I drink pickle juice often. I miss your macaroni salad which I can't eat without thinking about you. Dad can't make macaroni salad as good as you and it just won't be the same. You were the greatest guy, so great to where you are now the background to my computer, and I wish we were there to tell you. I hope you are taking good care of yourself now. I love you an I hope you always knew I did. I have definitely been trying to changes my ways and do great in school. I love you and I hope for the best to where you are.

"The legend of Kim Tam" indeed. I was a lifeguard there and Charles Ellsworth Galloway was the only person to ever do a triple back flip off the high board. Never a dull moment when he was up on the diving boards, or just at the lake. He would sneak in often and I looked the other way because he was so fun to have around.
I don't no of anyone who really didn't like Chuck, certainly no one would say so to his face! He wasn't a person you'd want to cross, but his good nature made him an approachable person for anyone.
When I look back at my best memories at Springfield High School, Chuck is often a part of them. I haven't seen him since graduation, but I will miss him knowing his loss. Godspeed Chuck.
