James Wright Obituary
Born in the Dover/New Philadelphia area, Jim lived most of his life in Akron. He was employed with Ad Direct in Barberton, was a Trustee at Mogadore United Methodist Church and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Dover. Jim loved riding his Harley.
Preceded in death by his grandparents; and father, James A. Wright, Sr.; he is survived by his wife of 17 years, Christina A.; son, Stephan (Dawn) Wright of Minerva; daughters, Ashley Wright of Dover and Kristin Wright of Akron; grandchildren, Cheyenne and Michael of Minerva; mother, Genevieve Wright of Dover; sister, Carol (Patrick) Hudson of Minerva; nephews, Caleb and Kyle Hudson; and his little dog, Snowball.
Funeral service Saturday, May 14, 2011, 11 a.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, 44312, with Pastor Daniel Baer officiating. Friends may call Friday, May 13, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home and on Saturday, one hour prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m. (Hopkins Lawver, AKRON, 330-733-6271)

Jim was a wonderful person. Always ready to lend a hand and help out whenever needed. I'll miss riding my RoadKing with him on the weekends when he would come down to the Beverly-Waterford area. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He will truly be missed.

Chris & Kristin: It is such a hard time for you and your family. Jim was always smiling and ready to help with anything. He was very special and we all have a special memory to carry us through. Hold on to your faith and memories. I am glad he was part of my life.

My Deepest Sympathy to you and your family,I do not know you but happened to be at a red light on George Washington Blvd.at Triplett,I saw Jim pass in front of me,made a comment to my passenger about him being cold on the bike,it was chilly Wed. nite and then not so sure what happened,it was so quick..my heart has been heavy and you all have been in my thoughts and prayers..I am so sorry for your loss
