MRS HAAG; I WAS ONE OF HAAG'S ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS IN 1952-54. HE WAS THE BEST PROFESSOR I HAD AT KENT STATE UNIVERSITY. I ALSO WORKED WITH HIM IN HIS CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS HELPING OUT WITH CONCRETE AND LABOR WHILE ATTENTING COLLEGE. I'M SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, JUST AS I ADMIRED HIM, THERE WERE MANY OTHER STUDENTS THAT RESPECTED HIM VERY MUCH. MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

What a wonderful friend to so many of us, a brilliant mind, an artists hand, a giving heart, a keen sense of humor and a mentor from those that were open to learn. I will deeply miss Keith. Our love and prayers will be for his elegant wife. Our hope will remain in the One who promises real life as He conquered the grave.

Dear Family,

I met with Keith the Wednesday just before he died. I invited him to coffee to pick his brain about this wonderful new industry in which I have recently found myself. It was an honor to talk with someone who so intimately new his industry and it's history. He was a terrific inspiration, not only in his passion for his work, but in how he spoke of his wife and family as well. He was a gift to our church and also to me.

In January 1959, six months prior to my graduating with a degree in Architecture, Keith hired me as a part time employee. In June 1959 he hired me as full time employee. Keith launched my carrer as he provided me the experience and showed me the confidence that I could represent him and the firm properly. He gave me opportunities of which I seized and even recommended to the State Board of Arch. that I was ready to take the State Board exams one year earlier than required. Based on Keith's recommendation the State Board allowed me to take the week long exam and upon passing the exam and receiving my state arch. license, Keith promoted me to an Associate in the firm. After 48 years, I'm still practicing and I'm proud to say I've had a successful career, proud of what I accomplished proud of my community environment and the confidence to accomplish these items all came from the start provided by Keith. Carol and I hope that all of you are doing the best you can at this time.
