Janet was probably my oldest friend over about 50 years. She taught piano to my six-year old (at the time) daughter. My grand-daughter is now a senior music major at U of Tampa and plans to teach music. Janet was a many talented and kind, caring person. She loved life. I will miss her great letters telling of her children and grandchildren.

My deepest sympathies to everyone in the family. She was an amazing, wonderful woman who was so giving, loving and welcoming. I wish I had the opportunity to meet her.
With love,
Tessa Tharp, Matthew May and her newest great grandson Matthew May.
