John "Bud" F Morse III

TOGETHER AGAIN

John F. "Bud" Morse III of Hudson passed away peacefully at the Hospice Care Center on Ridgewood Road in Fairlawn on Wednesday, December 20th.

Bud served his country in the Army for four years, at one time being stationed in France. He was a proud, long-time member of the Hudson American Legion. He retired from Morse Controls in Hudson. His joy was spending time at his farm in Guernsey County, communing with nature, planting trees and visiting with friends.

Bud was preceded in death by his father, John F. Morse, Jr.; mother, Alice Post Morse; step-mother, Helen Kirby Morse; great-niece,

Lauren Detrio; and long-time best friend, Joan Jerome.

He is survived by sisters, Gail (Dennis) Doty, Barbara (Bill) Mansfield, Janet (Bill) Grimsley, Cynde (Allan Vargo) Morse, Connie (Ed) McDonald, and their families including nephews, David (Sherry) Doty, Steve and Chris Spencer, Theron and Ken (Laura) Grimsley; niece, Kim (Joe) Detrio; great-nephew, Nicholas Detrio, and many wonderful friends, old and new.

At Bud's request, there will be no immediate service; however, a Celebration of Life will be held at Western Reserve Christian Church in Hudson at a later date.

So sorry to hear of Bud's passing. We have known members of the Morse family for many years and had worked at Morse since the early '60s. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bud's family and friends as we think of the fond memories we have over the many years.
