MUNROE FALLS- Ralph Warren O'Neil, 99, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2021. He was born on April 26, 1921 to Edward J. and Cuma T. O'Neil. He graduated president of his South High School class of 1939 and attended the Akron University. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and ROTC before enlisting in the Army Air Corps in 1942. After serving as 1st Lt. in World War II, he met the love of his life, Mona "Marie", and they were married for 71 years. He was an active member of First Congregational Church of Tallmadge and sang in the choir for many years. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, along with his sister, Mildred Roop. MUNROE FALLS- Ralph is survived by his wife, Marie; daughters, Darlene Giles (fiance' Jerrel Morgan) of Tallmadge, OH, Pamela Barefoot (Jeff) of Bucyrus, KS; grandchildren, Troy O'Neil (Carrie) of Hilliard, OH, Kelly Redovian of N. Canton, OH, Ryan Barefoot of Lees Summit, MO, Brooks Barefoot (Ashley) of Cassel Rock, CO, Logan Kelly (Michael) of Holly Springs, NC, along with seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to send a special thank you to Cleveland Clinic Hospice for their wonderful care. Rev. David Brumbaugh will conduct service Sunday, April 11th at 1 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 12 noon until service time. Private burial was held at Stow Cemetery.
